Camp Timber Ridge is a nonprofit one week camp designed to encourage curiosity and allow the natural wonders of science, nature, and the Spanish and French cultures to be experienced. The camp is held on a horse farm with beautiful pastures, woods, and waterways just outside of Riner, Virginia.

Science and nature discovery are the main focuses of the camp, with much of the learning through hands on experiences. Spanish and French language and culture have been integrated into the program so the children can learn beginning levels Spanish and French and develop an appreciation for foreign speaking cultures. Camp Timber Ridge also places an emphasis on environmental issues and recycling.

A typical day will consist of continuous science, nature, Spanish or French activities with an arts and crafts project. There will be a one hour foreign language class each day. Two 15 minute breaks will also be included with snacks and water provided by the camp.
